The last two times we dined, we had a cocktail at Mo’s (the basement speakeasy-esque bar in the basement) before our dinner reservation. “One of the most historically beautiful restaurants I’ve ever dined in. You feel like royalty sitting in here. The food is always full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My favorite is the gnocchi with chicken. The drinks are always so delicious and very well balanced. They almost look too good to drink. “All around great atmosphere! Lighting was perfect, including touch lamp at the table allowing us to determine our preferred level of lighting. Table setting was nice and the staff’s use of a crumb catcher was a classy touch. Servers were all friendly and attentive without crossing into fake and annoying. Without much wait our appetizer came out; the Baseball Meatball. Our server put a candle in it, as they had done for our daughter the year before, to celebrate her birthday. “My husband and I went to Mangiamo for the first time for our first anniversary last night and we were so impressed. As soon as you walk in the decor throughout each room gives you this dark romantic feel. The wine was delicious. For an appetizer we ordered the crab cakes which were amazing. My husband’s ribeye was cooked perfectly and was the best steak we’ve ever had. My gnocchi was also delicious and the chicken I got on top was perfectly moist. After we finished eating we had to get dessert to celebrate so we got the chocolate olive oil cake and the limoncello cake. They wrote happy anniversary on the plate and lit a candle which I thought was so sweet. We just found our new favorite restaurant.”  ~ Deb
